Baba Rampuri, Mangalanand Puri, and Vasudev Puri, are first foreigners honored as “Shri Mahants” of Juna Akhara in the ancient Sanatani ritual of proclamation in front of Guru Dattatreya and Shiva.

The ceremony takes place at Juna Akhara, inside the temple compound of the Mother Goddess Maya Devi during the religious festival the Haridwar Kumbh Mela 2010.
