Navgraha Havan
We performed the Navgraha Havan on Day Two of our three day Chandika Yajna in 2015.
The Nine Planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Rahu, and Ketu) are called graha in Sanskrit and Hindi, that which “grabs” or “possesses.”
In the Navgraha Homa, we make a Vedic Fire Sacrifice to appease the grahas, to lessen the malefic influences, and to strengthen the positive influences in our lives.
