Reason for Sacred Speech

The reason for Sacred Speech in the first place was as a means of taking responsibility for the well being and prosperity of one’s family or greater family, i.e., community. The reason for now taking a good look at what passes for discourse is the same.
Personally, I’m not very interested in theory or ideology, especially when it comes to Speech. But I do see both our individual as well as community survival and prosperity intimately connected with the responsibility we take upon ourselves to honor Speech, and one of the ways is to start practicing discrimination in our choices of authority when it comes to speech.
