Effective: 3 July 2026

This website, rampuri.com, is the personal archive of Baba Rampuri. It exists to share his experience, teachings, and discourse — not to gather data about you. This page explains, plainly, what little information the site touches and why.

Who is responsible

Baba Rampuri is the controller of any personal information handled through this site. You can reach him through the contact page or at baba@rampuri.com.

What we collect, and why

The contact form. If you write through the contact page, your name, email address, and message are sent to Baba as an email so he can reply. They are not stored in the website’s database and are not used for any other purpose. There is no newsletter and no mailing list.

Email. If you write to baba@rampuri.com, your message is handled like any personal correspondence — read, replied to, and kept only as long as the conversation needs.

Comments. If you leave a comment, the name, email address, and comment you provide — and your IP address, which helps prevent spam — are stored with the comment. Your email address is never published.

Technical logs and cookies. Like nearly every website, the servers and content-delivery network that host this site keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, browser type) for security and performance. The site sets only strictly necessary technical cookies (caching and security). We use no analytics or tracking cookies, and we do not profile visitors.

Embedded video. Some pages contain videos played through YouTube (Google) and Bunny Stream. When you view or play these, the video provider may process your IP address under its own privacy policy, as with any embedded media on the web.

Amazon links. Some pages link to books on Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, Baba Rampuri earns from qualifying purchases. Once you click through to Amazon, Amazon’s own cookies and privacy policy apply. A small functional cookie remembers your region so these links point to your local Amazon store.

What we don’t do

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with anyone. We show no advertising. We send no marketing. We do not track you across the web.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, the law gives you rights over your personal information — including the right to see what we hold, to correct it, and to have it erased:

  • European Union / United Kingdom (GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority.
  • India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023): access, correction, erasure, and grievance redressal.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, to delete, and to opt out of sale — noting we sell nothing and share nothing.

For any of these, simply write through the contact page. Since the site keeps almost nothing, most requests are satisfied in minutes.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Where the data lives

The site is hosted with Hostinger, whose servers and content-delivery network may be located outside your country. Contact-form messages are delivered to a Google (Gmail) mailbox.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
