Baba's Interviews

Over the years, friends and journalists have sat with me to ask about the path: about the Nāga Sannyāsis and the akhāras, about sacred speech and the oral tradition, and about what fifty years in India have shown a young man who left California to look for authority. Good conversations wander, and these do too, but they keep circling one thread — that real knowledge is carried from person to person, in the living voice. Here are some of those exchanges.
