Donna D'Cruz Interview

Donna D’Cruz and I had a lovely conversation in Central Park, on a summer morning, about storytelling. Across these seven short pieces we wander from the campfire of the Babas and the stories told heart to heart, through consumerism and the act of giving, to Mother Nature and the urgent calling of our age, and finally to the blessings of the Goddess. Throughout, the oral tradition keeps its authority in the living voice — the first voice any of us knew, our mother’s storytelling us to sleep.

This conversation unfolds in seven parts. Begin with the first.
