Shivalinga Ashtakam

Shiva Lingashtakam is the eight verse stotram sung to Lord Shiva, especially in His form of the Shiva Linga.

The esteemed Purohits from Mookambika Shakti Pith in Karnataka perform this sacred chanting at midnight on Mahashivaratri, 2016, in the Guru Dattatreya Mandir, at the dhuni of Baba Rampuri in Goa.

“I bow before that Lingam, which is the eternal Shiva,
Which is worshipped by Brahma, Vishnu and other Devas,
Which is pure and resplendent,
And which destroys sorrows of birth.”
